FIFTY SCARECROWS ADORNED the streets of Westhill on Sunday as families followed the route and picked their favourites. Although the rain fell on the participants (and their stuffed friends too!) it was fun squelching around in wellie boots; the event was an overwhelming success and everyone enjoyed taking part.

LOCAL HERITAGE SITE NEEDS YOUR HELP, SAYS LOCAL CHARITY

Local charity, SensationAll, will unveil their plans for the Old Schoolhouse and Library on the 10th June, the Westhill and Elrick Community Council learned this week. Pinnacle Visualisation, the software firm behind the Marischal Square 3D visualisations, have been commissioned to showcase the charity’s designs in a big open day held at the Old Schoolhouse, on Westhill Road.
HIKING AT SEVENTY
MORE THAN THIRTY people have already signed up for a sponsored walk in aid of charity, Christian Aid, in celebration of the the charity’s 70th Anniversary and to raise money for the many projects going on worldwide. The expedition will depart on 13th June and climb great heights in order to raise money.
