This autumn, Skene Parish Church is launching a Young Heroes Award as part of the Year of Young People. A launch event is being held as part of the Westhill Showcase event on Saturday 25th August at Westhill Academy from 12noon to 4pm.

Our community is full of inspirational and hard-working young people who are making the most of their abilities and talents.  There are young people who are seeking to make a difference in the lives of those around them.  Some of our teenagers are coping in exceptional ways with all kinds of difficult situations including bereavement, chronic illness and relational breakdown.

We need your help!

We want to recognise how amazing our young people are and have developed this award with two distinct categories- Young Carers and  Coping with Adversity.
