As you may be aware from this website, the Bulletin or P & J etc, a sculptor has been appointed. His name is Holger Lonze, he is from Ireland. He is coming to Westhill for a few days soon and we have arranged an informal drop-in session at Westhill Library on Saturday 13th January from 10 to 12.
The aim of the drop-in session with the sculptor Holger is to gather thoughts and suggestions that will help in developing the gateway sculpture for the entrance to Westhill. It will be an opportunity for interested individuals and groups to discuss, contribute and inform the project, its theme and concept. Please bring any photos, information, anecdotes and material that you might consider useful for researching and developing the artwork. While the focus is on the last fifty years of development in Westhill, any historic material and images may be of interest! We can arrange for copies of material to be taken and the originals returned to you.
Please inform anyone who you think may be interested, and we look forward to seeing some of you on 13th!
