The Holiday Inn in Westhill has a new owner.

The 86-bedroom Westhill Drive property was bought by Newcastle-based Cairn Group along with the Holiday Inn Express in Chapel Street, Aberdeen, securing a total of 125 jobs.

The hotels were put up for sale by administrators after the European Development Company collapsed last year.
