From Monday 21 August the Monday to Friday service will be operated by Central Taxis (Aberdeen) using two taxis instead of a minibus. Aberdeenshire Council said the aim was to enable an increase in the number of passenger trips made.

From Saturday 26 August the Saturday service will operate as a timetabled service – click Westhill A2B dial-a-bus Sat service Aug 2017 – which will be operated by Stagecoach using the existing minibus.

The existing booking arrangements will continue with passengers able to book up to two weeks in advance for health-related trips and one week in advance for other trips. Aberdeenshire Council said it hoped to be able to increase the number of “same-day” bookings – these are subject to a minimum of one hour’s notice.

Aberdeenshire Council said the service area has been amended and reduced “due to very few requests for the service in outlying areas”.
