There is an ongoing emergency road closure on Westhill Drive, Westhill, due to a burst water main that has caused significant damage to the carriageway.

The road is closed from the junction with Hillside Road to the junction with Hay’s Way and the diversion is via Hillside Road and Westhill Road as shown above.

Scottish Water are in the process of appointing a contractor to carry out the repairs. Aberdeenshire Council said it was not possible at this stage to say how long the closure would be in place.
