Aberdeenshire councillors have voted to object to plans for the proposed Aberdeen Football Club stadium near Westhill.
The stadium and training facilities are planned for Kingsford, next to the A944 Aberdeen-Westhill road, and close to the Aberdeenshire Council boundary.
The decision on whether it goes ahead will be taken by Aberdeen City Council because the site is within the City boundary. However, Aberdeenshire Council is a statutory consultee.
Aberdeenshire Council’s infrastructure services committee narrowly voted to object to the application.
