Aberdeen City Council is to extend the deadline for accepting written comments from the public about Aberdeen Football Club’s planning application for a stadium at Kingsford, near Westhill.

The date has been changed from February 17 to February 27, to coincide with the deadline for community councils and other consultees. Representations can made through Aberdeen City Council’s website, by email to pi@aberdeencity.gov.uk, or by post.

The planning authority made the decision after a request was made during a meeting with representatives of Kingswells Community Council and Westhill and  Elrick Community Council on January 24, held to discuss various matters relating to the proposed stadium.
