Bus service provision in Westhill will feature prominently at the Garioch Area Bus Forum, the Westhill and Elrick Community Council has learned this week.

Likely to be discussed at some length are the service 16 and X18, which were introduced back in August 2015.

These new routes were introduced to complement the mainline X17 service (Westhill-Aberdeen via Woodend Hospital) and the 777 service (Oldmeldrum – Kirkhill Industrial Estate via Westhill) by serving Hilltop Turning Circle, Arnhall Industrial Estate, Kingswells Park and Ride and Foresterhill.
