AFC stadium proposal: update
Aberdeen Football Club has submitted an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) screening opinion request for its proposed stadium to the east of Westhill.
An EIA is a means of drawing together, in a systematic way, an assessment of the likely significant environmental effects arising from a proposed development.
For more details about the request, click here.
For more information about EIAs, click here.
PLEASE NOTE: The land lies within the city boundary and planning applications will be determined by Aberdeen City Council. WECC will scrutinize the proposals when an application for building consent is formally submitted and at that point consider taking a position on them.
