Local Development Plan Consultations

The LDP Main Issues Report was published in January .   The consultation period closes 8th April.

There is 2 consultation events that residents can attend:
Thursday 21st February- a drop-in session at Holiday inn from 12.30 to 7pm, organised by Planning team
Wednesday 6th March, 7.30pm at Holiday Inn function room.   This has been organised by the Community Council  but members of the Planning team will give a presentation  and be there to answer queries

“Planning Matters” Training Event

The WECC Vice Chair Stuart Bews has called a Special Meeting of the Community Council for Monday 25th February , 7pm at Holiday Inn, to run a “Planning Matters” training session.  Members of the public are welcome to attend.
This will cover all aspects of the Community Council’s role in Planning.
It will cover information on the Strategic and Local Plans, processing and determination of Planning Applications and Developer Obligations.  It will also discuss the appropriate actions for a  Community Councillor when they have a link to an item being considered by the Community Council.
