TEMPORARY CLOSURE B979 CARNIE WOODS CAR PARK FOR FOOTPATH & INFRASTRUCTURE UPGRADE PROJECT – Week Commencing MONDAY 28^TH AUGUST 2023.

The B979 Carnie Woods Car Park will be closed to the Public from Monday 28 August 2023 for a period of approximately 8 weeks. (dependent on weather conditions) for use as a contractor’s compound. This project is being undertaken with Westhill & Elrick Community Council [WECC] to construct new and upgrade existing footpath surfaces and infrastructure to improve access and user enjoyment of the woods through Paths for All funding.

To ensure public safety, access within the woodland will be restricted, with no admission to areas where works are being carried out.

Members of the public must always adhere to signage and closure notices, and to avoid accidents please keep dogs on a lead when walking close to working areas due to noise.

During this period limited access and car parking will be available at Carnie Crescent and Peregrine Road entrances.
