Resurfacing works being carried out by Aberdeenshire Council are being extended by four days because of recent bad weather.

In the interests of public safety the A944 Dunecht to Millbank road was originally to be closed at Mains of Linton Bridge from 29 June 2017 for 2 days.

Access for pedestrians and to adjacent properties is being maintained at all times.

The alternative route, which is signposted, is via B993 to B9119, B9119 to B977 Echt, B977 to A944 as shown below:
