People living across the North-east have been urged to be on guard for future flooding after rain and rivers wreaked havoc.
Homes and businesses were devastated and at one point the Scottish Environment Protection agency warned there was a risk to life.
A booklet describing measures that can help reduce exposure to flooding and impacts when it occurs has been re-issued.
Produced with the support of statutory agencies, it said: “Flooding can have a devastating effect on people, property, businesses and land.
“This booklet will guide you in preparation for flooding and show you what help and support is available should you suffer from flooding.”
