WESTHILL residents have been invited to describe what their home town means to them.

And free mince pies will be on offer at a special event to help get people talking!

“What Westhill Means to Me” is a project that aims to profile the town.

A feedback gathering exercise will take place at Westhill Community Centre on Hay’s Way from 7pm to 9pm on Wednesday December 9.

Organiser Elaine Lawson, a community officer, said: “Come along to the whole evening or just pop in for a spell.

“It’s a chance to tell stories of the past, to discuss what it’s like to live, work and play in Westhill, and exchange views on your hopes or fears about the future of Westhill.”

If you can’t manage along on the night you can post your stories to the Facebook site here.

Or, if you prefer, you can complete an online anonymous survey here.
